The following terms and conditions apply for the think.BDPST 2020 conference:
Guests understand and accept that tickets (also referred to as vouchers) cannot be transferred or exchanged. By accepting our invitation, Guests agree that tickets are for personal use and may not be resold or transferred. The resale of tickets is prohibited. The Antall József Knowledge Centre (hereinafter: “AJKC”) reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold.
Guests are asked to present their vouchers in order to receive their badges. Badges can be collected on the spot from 4pm onward 25 March 2020 and 8am 26 March 2020.
Tickets cannot be collected by third parties without the prior written consent of AJKC.
AJKC reserves the right, without compensation, to refuse admission to any person whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming (including, but not limited to abusive, threatening, drunken, or other behaviour, or making unauthorised audio, video, or photographic recordings).
Guests understand and accept that “think.BDPST” is a trademark of AJKC.
Guests understand and accept that no audio or video recording is allowed during the conference unless having the prior written consent of AJKC. Although the event is open for the press, performers and speakers have the right to ask photographers not to take pictures of them. Therefore, guests are kindly asked to refrain from taking pictures.
The conference will receive high publicity, and will be recorded in its entirety. By attending the conference, guests acknowledge that their image might be used by AJKC in promotional photographs or their likeness appear in any live or recorded video display based of AJKC’s legitimate interest.
AJKC reserves the right to change the programme.
AJKC may postpone, cancel, interrupt, or stop the event in case of adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Guests understand and accept that AJKC has the right to conduct discreet safety and security checks at the conference venues, and may, from time to time, carry out security searches in line with the applying legal provisions. Prohibited items, including, but not limited to, weapons or dangerous substances are not allowed to be brought to the event, they have to be handed over to the organisers of the conference.
Any complaints regarding the event will be directed to and dealt with by the project manager and the statutory representative of AJKC.
Please note that for the purposes of the development and maintenance of the webpages of the event (think.bdpst.org. ylf.think.bdpst.org, startupexpo.think.bdpst.org), the web developer of the think.BDPST webpages, WP Online – Creative Digital (Seat: 7-8 Ferenciek tere, 1053, Budapest, Hungary), may access personal data as data processor provided during the registration process. WP Online – Creative Digital shall keep all collected data confidential pursuant to the contract concluded with AJKC. Please also note that, for the purposes of processing and managing your registration, the agency responsible for event management, Ad Valorem (Seat: 48-50 Szent László Way, 1135 Budapest), may also access as data processor personal data provided during registration. Ad Valorem is obliged to keep confidential all data as per the data processing contract signed with AJKC.

We will evaluate your application to qualify for YLF 2020 and share your application material only with individuals working for AJKC and who are members of the YLF selection committee. After the evaluation of all applications, we will notify you about the results via e-mail.
